Man in police grips for beating sons with electricity cable

The boys have suffered severe cuts on their bodies as a result of the whipping.
A 35-year-old man, Kofi Konor Abusuapanyin, has been arrested by the Nkwanta Police in the Volta region for allegedly whipping his two sons with an electricity cable.
The crime happened as he was leaving the house to watch football without his knowledge.
The sons, Francis Kofi, 9 and Joe Kofi, 7, have suffered severe cuts on their bodies as a result of the whipping.
Mother of the kids, Atta Joyce, who reported the incident to the Police, expressed disgust at the occurrence.
She says it is difficult for her to understand why her ex-husband would mete out such punishments to his own biological children.
The police have since commenced investigations into the matter.
